Athletic Injuries

Catalog description

A wide variety of athletic injuries, mechanisms of injury, prevention strategies, and therapies will be discussed. This course will help students to respond to injuries as exercise professionals and understand the scope of practice for the various members a sports medicine team. Students will have the opportunity to complete First Aid, CPR, and AED certification as part of this course.
