Catalog description

This course is the adaption of advanced nursing concepts and skills in the development of the professional nurse's roles with adult patients involving multiple body system issues. Emphasis on advanced knowledge, clinical judgment, advanced nursing skills and professional values within alegal/ethical framework. This course focuses on clients with common complex health concerns.The content of this course will assist the student to develop their role as a member of the profession in providing patient-centered care, while emphasizing patient safety and advocacy and collaboration among the health care team. This course is a course only included in the Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) Program.
