Catalog description

This class provides the student with a fundamental understanding of inorganic and organic chemistry as it applies to hazardous materials. This course will cover the introduction to the periodic table, ionic and covalent compounds including salts and non-salt compounds, hydrocarbons and hydrocarbon derivatives. A review of the DOT classes of hazardous materials will also be covered.
