Intro to Creative Writing

Catalog description

(ZERO TEXTBOOK COST) Prerequisite: ENG 100 or an approved equivalent transferable first-year composition course. This is an introductory course in creative writing. Students will compose fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. Beginning writers are given the opportunity to explore and analyze forms of poetry and prose of cultural importance that broadens their understanding of the human condition, participate in workshop activities, and revise texts according to peer and instructor feedback.
