Catalog description
This course introduces students to the techniques and theories they need to explore traditional and experimental methods in drawing. There is an emphasis on foundation skills such as form, value, composition, and perspective. Self-expression and observation skills will also be stressed. Explore the widespread drawings from historical, cultural, and contemporary artists through presentations and discussions. No previous art experience is required.
