Oral Pathology I

Catalog description

This course will introduce students to oral diseases, bridging the field of dentistry to medicine. Instruction will include an overview of oral and maxillofacial disease, identifying oral and maxillofacial disease pathogenesis, correlating histopathology with clinical presentation, learn when and how to refer, and interpreting a pathological report. The course will consist of classroom instruction supplemented with small group sessions. Small group sessions will be case-based reviews of the material being presented in the lecture.
