Catalog description

The laboratory portion of the introduction to endodontics course provides hands-on experience in the practice of endodontics. Both extracted and plastic teeth are used. Students are required to identify and properly use endodontic instruments. Emphasis is placed on being able to properly perform diagnostic tests, accomplish access preparations, use both hand and rotary instrumentation techniques, and obdurate teeth. Radiographs of completed work and self-evaluation of results is also required.
