Spanish for Dental Professionals II

Catalog description

This is the second course in a series. Many of the communities surrounding our School of Dental Medicine satellite clinics have a high proportion of native Spanish-speaking patients, creating additional barriers to a complex healthcare system. This course aims to provide students with the basics of conversational Spanish, specialized dental terminology, and other tools for communicating with Spanish-speaking patients, thus enhancing their ability to empathize and communicate with a diverse patient population.
