Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine

Catalog description

The Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Rotation is completed in the OMSIII year, during a two-week block. To pass the rotation, students will complete the Archer Medical OMM1 Core Curriculum, broken into 22 Core Lessons. Each Core lesson takes approximately 1 hour to complete. 2 additional “Next Steps” lessons will be completed for COMAT preparation. Four supplemental OMM lectures are presented in CLIN 704 Centralized Didactics during the year. Students will sit for the OPP COMAT on completion of the course. The OPP 704 Course does not count toward the combined 8-week non-clinical rotation limitation for the OMSIII and OMSIV years.
