Clinical Intensive

The Clinical Intensive Rotation is a collaboration between the Departments of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Clinical Medicine, the Simulation Center, Student Affairs, and the various Associate Deans. Referral for this course will be sent to the course directors listed on this syllabus. The referral will include all documentation related to the student’s performance to be addressed during the rotation. The Clinical Education Department will arrange for referred students to be available during the on-campus portion of the rotation. The Clinical Intensive Rotation is offered to select students initially starting rotations after some delay. This course is offered on a rotating schedule to line up with clinical rotations and board exam release dates and will occur in 2–4–week blocks.
