Clinical Remediation

Catalog description

The Clinical Remediation Rotation is a collaboration between the Departments of Clinical Education and Pre-Clinical Education, the Simulation Center, and Student Affairs. These referrals will be sent to the course directors listed on this syllabus. The referral will include all documentation related to the student’s performance to be addressed during the rotation. The Clinical Education Department will arrange for referred students to be available during the on-campus portion of the rotation. This course will not count towards graduation credits. The course’s duration varies from one to four weeks and will be determined by assessments conducted at the beginning and by the assessments of the course faculty. The Clinical Remediation Rotation is offered as needed for clinical rotation failures.
