Catalog description

This course recognizes that students are required to take standardized exams, submit applications/ curricula vitae/resumes, and attend personal interviews to gain admittance to medical and health professional schools or employment and that once practicing will routinely take board and standardized exams for licensure. Consequently, this course addresses test resources, preparation skills, and test- taking strategies for standardized exams such as the MCAT, DAT, and GRE. The course will also acquaint students with standardized application services, application processes, cv/resume development, cover letter writing, and personal interviews. Mock interviews will be completed as part of the course. Admittance to MBS program or permission of the MBS director is required.
