Catalog description

Placement in this developmental course is based on entrance testing. This course is designed to help students strengthen their basic writing skills to prepare for college-level coursework. Students will focus on grammar, sentence structure, paragraph development, and organizing short essays. Students will build confidence in writing clearly and effectively through guided practice and feedback. This course does not count toward degree credit but is required for students needing additional college-level English preparation.
