Introduction to Athletic Training

Catalog description

This course will provide students with an introductory understanding of the issues and concepts common to the athletic training profession. Students will develop their understanding of athletic health and safety, including legal and ethical guidelines, recognition of common pathologies, and evidence-based care. Students will also develop skills in the application of common taping and bandaging techniques, critical thinking, and communication.
