Catalog description

Students explore various research methodologies and statistical designs applicable to communicative disorders. They study and critically evaluate empirical studies from current literature and examine scholarly and professional writing skills. Students learn the application of the scientific method and the use of qualitative and quantitative data as it applies to the assessment and treatment of clients with communicative disorders. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previous courses in the SLPA course sequence or permission of instructor.
