Catalog description

Students explore the theory and methods of habilitation/rehabilitation of hearing impaired children and adults. Procedures include speech and language development, speech conservation, speech reading, auditory training and amplification with individual and group hearing aids. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previous courses in the SLPA course sequence or permission of instructor.
