Catalog description

This class presents formal and informal assessment strategies and treatment strategies for adults who have language-based and motor speech-based communicative difficulties secondary to stroke, trauma, and degenerative conditions. Focus is directed to understanding and managing aphasia and motor speech disorders. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previous courses in the SLPA course sequence or permission of instructor.
