Treatment Considerations Across the Lifespan I.

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of human growth and development across the first three stages of the lifespan infancy, childhood, and adolescence, using the Reflective Practice and Active Learning threads to discover how occupational therapy addresses human development and in clinical practice and occupation-based care plans. Includes ethical and leadership considerations for the group/population. This course provides students with procedural knowledge about human development to further develop clinical reasoning skills to prepare students for entry-level practice. Prerequisite: Admission into the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program and successful completion of previous trimester coursework.
