Catalog description
This course examines advanced theories and models in group music therapy, with applications to various clinical populations. The focus is on the roles and tasks within group development processes. Students refine their group facilitation skills by utilizing music-centered techniques through in-class simulations and supervised clinical practice. Prerequisite: Successful completion of MTHR 187 (or an approved music therapy internship) and permission of instructor.
