Catalog description

This course builds on foundational animation skills and provides students with the opportunity to explore advanced concepts, tools, and techniques across a variety of animation approaches. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, creative problem-solving, and refining individual artistic voices while working with both traditional and digital methods. Topics may include character animation, motion graphics, experimental storytelling, 3D practices, or emerging technologies, depending on student interests and current industry trends. Through projects, critiques, and research, students will expand their technical proficiency and develop a portfolio of innovative work. Prerequisite: MPRO 033 or MPRO 131 or MPRO 133 or instructor’s permission.
