Catalog description

This course explores the principles, techniques, and workflows of visual effects (VFX) for games and film. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools to create cinematic effects, real-time game assets, and composited shots. Topics include digital compositing, particle systems, physics-based simulations, motion tracking, and procedural effects. By the end of the course, students will produce several portfolio-ready VFX sequences integrating their skills in animation, rendering, and compositing. Prerequisites: MPRO 015 or instructor's permission.
