This advanced course prepares students for the professional demands of musical theatre performance by refining their ability to merge vocal technique, acting craft, and stylistic versatility. Students will perform challenging repertoire from both canonical and contemporary works, demonstrating nuanced interpretation and adaptability. Emphasis is placed on audition preparation, repertoire building, and the ability to communicate truthfully and dynamically in a variety of performance settings. This course may be repeated. Prerequisite: MPER 042 .
