Catalog description

This is a non-clinical elective to further student exposure to PA roles outside direct patient care or varied practice environments. Students in good academic standing will be able to request an elective experience in a desired specialty area, such as education, healthcare administration, or international PA practice. Non-clinical elective may include remote, telemedicine, synchronous, or asynchronous learning activities outside direct patient care. The Program reserves the right to utilize electives in the student’s best interest to address knowledge or skill deficiencies. Dual enrollment with 287 is prohibited. Prerequisite: Admission to MPAS Program or permission by Instructor.
