Students begin training in the basic language skills of understanding, speaking, reading and writing at the second semester level. A communicative and cultural approach is the focus, and placement is subject to continual re-evaluation. Prerequisites: FREN 011A with a "C-" or better or permission of instructor. ( GE2A , GELN )
