Catalog description

This course reviews methods and curricula presented for teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in K-12 classrooms. Topics include state-adopted content standards and curriculum frameworks; essential mathematics, technology, engineering, life, physical, and earth science themes, concepts, and skills; instructional planning and diverse and appropriate teaching strategies for meeting the needs of diverse learners. Fieldwork is required.
