It is designed to examine the major theoretical perspectives and research studies in second language acquisition. It involves critical analysis and critique of important literature and research studies in second language acquisition. It covers techniques for conducting classroom-based research in second language learning and teaching. Students in this course learn to develop a research proposal to investigate an area of interest in the field of second language acquisition.
