Catalog description

Introduction to the basic principles of sound and its measurement, including Damage Risk Criteria and its application to noise-induced hearing loss will be addressed, as well as components of hearing conservation programs in a variety of settings and evaluation of their effectiveness in the prevention of hearing. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all previous courses in the AUDI course sequence or permission of instructor.
