ARTS 181A and ARTS 181B is an advanced level studio course that focuses on the development of research skills and interdisciplinary practice in the arts. Anchored in the tradition of rigorous studio practices, and enhanced by innovative approaches to creative thinking and research, interdisciplinary studio offers a context for practicing art in the contemporary/multidisciplinary arts environment. Interdisciplinary studies of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and three-dimensional media are supported through close guidance and mentorship by art and design faculty.
