Inclusive Sex Education and Reproductive Health in the Nonprofit Sector

Policy and research about sexuality, reproduction, abortion, sexual education, families and kinship networks, and differential sexual/reproductive health impacts for communities of color, disabled people, Indigenous communities, those dealing with poverty and lack of access to care, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, are crucial. Students will learn about these topics through intersectional frameworks and will be well positioned to serve as community advocates, policy analysts, candidates on the job market in the nonprofit/policy sector, or other roles related to promoting sexual and reproductive health and justice. Includes asynchronous training modules on the topics named. Cross-listed with POL 380B Challenge Seminar.
