Fieldwork III: Field Experiences in Childhood Settings

Catalog description

This fieldwork provides teaching candidates with the opportunity for guided practice in childhood teaching skllls appropriate for students with diverse needs and levels of literacy and English language acquisition alongside their coursework that focuses on the diverse needs of individual learners for a third semester. Observations and practica, occurring twice per week, will be guided by a school-based mentor and a university-based clinical supervisor who facilitate the connection of the fieldwork experience to theories, research, and methods in concurrent coursework. Restrictions/Requirements: Must be co-registered for appropriate TCH coursework during fall semester of senior year.
