Student Teaching in Early Childhood Settings

Catalog description

This course allows early childhood candidates to meet student teaching requirements for early childhood certification. Candidates develop and demonstrates skills in planning, Instructing, and assessing early childhood students to meet the needs of all learners while under the guidance of early childhood mentors and university-based clinical supervisors. This course will provide candidates with the opportunity to demonstrate evidence of competency for teaching practice in early childhood classrooms as required by New York State. Department Approval Required.
