Cultural Field Studies in Spain

Catalog description

This course will explore current trends in Spanish literature, art, music, and culture. Since Spain became a member of the European community, it has experienced a number of social changes. Special attention will be given to issues of economy, society, immigration, democracy, and contemporary thought in present-day Spain. Several meetings will take place during the semester to prepare students for the travel portion. Course conducted in English.
