Catalog description
The neuroanatomical and neurophysiological correlates of behavior are examined in this course. The course addresses basic assumptions about the relationships between brain development and behavioral change. Research methods are discussed in conjunction with prenatal and postnatal brain development. Differentiation of the cerebral cortex, cognitive change., attention , visually guided action, and memory are discussed. In addition, course topics include language acquisition, speech recognition, and perceptual development. Restrictions/Requirements: Admission to MA program.
