This course explores the ideas and movements of western political thought in the 20th century, including communism, fascism, liberalism, existentialism, feminism, postmodernism, and religious fundamentalism. The course will take students through the major events in the West over the last hundred years, from the onset of the Russian Revolution and World War I, to World War II, to the Cold War, to the “War on Terror.”Restriction/Requirement: pre-req or permission of Instructor
