Catalog description

This course will explore questions about the nature of Latin American philosophy, as well as significant contributions made by Latin American philosophers in several areas of philosophy, including analytic, continental, ethics, metaphysics, as well as social & political philosophy. This course will explore the works of thinkers such as Linda Martin Alcoff, Gloria Anzaldúa, Enrique Dussel, Paulo Freire, Gustavo Gutiérrez, Maria Lugones, and Eduardo Mendieta.
