Theater Practicum: Assistant Directing

Catalog description

This course provides students in the BA Directing and/or the BFA Performance Making program with hands-on experience working as an Assistant Director with a professional guest / Sands faculty director on a Sands “Mainstage” Season production for academic credit. In addition to fulfilling the stated production work, the student must meet with the practicum instructor once during the process and complete a final paper addressing their learning, the goal(s) achieved, and challenges faced during the process.
