Acting Stage to Screen

Catalog description

The course continues building on the fundamental and refined principles of actor training. The objective is to create crosspollination between text-based performance programs for their senior year. It will clarify the distinctions between acting for the stage and screen. The course will demystify and synthesize the technique of the actor who seeks to move comfortably between the mediums of stage and screen, building a savvy and confident understanding between the two. The class will be taught in a hands-on lab style approach.
