Film Practicum

Catalog description

This course provides Performing Arts students with actual production experience behind the camera on a film set for academic credit. Opened to FTVC upper classmen Juniors and Seniors they will explore key positions on a film set such as Script Supervisor and Continuity, 2nd 2nd, AC - roles that are not currently being covered by the Production program. In addition to fulfilling the stated production work, the student must maintain a journal and complete a final paper addressing the processes involved and the goal(s) achieved. Course rotation: NYC: Fall & Spring.
