Catalog description

Ballet Pedagogy is the theory and practice of teaching ballet technique to assess and train students in a logical, progressive, and responsible manner. This course includes an overview of different methodologies for teaching ballet pedagogy and applying them in practice through class observation, self-observation, and peer assessment. You must have completed four semesters of ballet to enroll in this course.Restriction/Requirement:Student must be pursuing a B.F.A. degree in Commercial Dance or pursuing a B.A. degree in Theater/Commercial Dance
