LA Dance Styles

Catalog description

This course will immerse the students in the wide varieties of dance styles relevant in the Los Angeles commercial dance arena. Styles such as hip hop, house, street, funk, vogue, ballroom and other emerging LA styles represented on stage and screen will be explored throughout the semester. This course is a physical application class and students will embody the exploration of each of these diverse styles through their weekly course work.
