NURS 902
DNP Project 2: DNP Project Proposal Development
Pace University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course is designed to continue to support and facilitate students in a clinical leadership experience through which they demonstrate the scholarship of practice at the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) level. Students synthesize the knowledge and skills gained from previous courses to demonstrate the integral relationship between scholarship and advanced practice nursing by working toward solving a clinical problem using an evidence-based, equitable, person-centered, primary health care framework. In this second phase of the DNP project experience, student will synthesize and translate research evidence related to a clinically focused practice problem into practice through the development of a practice change proposal. This course emphasizes intra and interprofessional collaboration, consultation, and partnership development in designing an evidence-based proposal for practice improvement within a selected clinical agency. Students continue to work as project teams under the mentorship of a faculty mentor and a clinical agency mentor.
