Technology and Information Systems for Advanced Practice Nursing

Catalog description

: This course is designed to provide the advanced practice nurse with increased proficiency in the evaluation and utilization of technology and information systems to improve health care quality, safety, access, and efficiency. The student will learn to use information systems and technology-based resources to facilitate clinical decision-making, evaluation of nursing outcomes, and quality improvement for the promotion of evidence-based, equitable, person-centered, primary health care.
