Advanced Physical Assessment Across the Lifespan

Catalog description

This course is designed to assist the student to gain proficiency in comprehensive health evaluation across the lifespan. Using an evidence-based, equitable, person-centered, primary health care framework, the student will develop skills in history taking, cultural assessment, risk assessment, health promotion/disease prevention, and appropriate documentation. This skill set will enable the student to develop interviewing and physical assessment skills consistent with advanced practice nursing.
