Health Assessment and Introductory Clinical Reasoning in Nursing Practice

Catalog description

In this course, students in the accelerated program integrate theoretical and clinical knowledge and utilize it on the health-illness continuum across the lifespan and with diverse patient populations. Students learn to perform health assessments and promote patient safety. Emphasis is placed on using health assessment findings for clinical decision-making, clinical reasoning, and interprofessional collaboration.
