Doctoral Internship I

Catalog description

Counseling Internship provides students with opportunities to continue to develop as counselors and leaders in the field. The internship provides students with opportunities to gain additional experience and knowledge in at least three of the five core areas. Students must include supervised experiences in counseling and at least two more of the four remaining doctoral curricular areas: Counseling (required) Teaching Supervision Research and scholarship Leadership and advocacy Students will be engaged in the core activities listed above in professional categories and will receive instruction and supervision in class as well as supervision in the field.
