Catalog description

A direct experience in the working environment, intended to provide the student with a practical extension and enhancement of knowledge gained in class. The student has an assignment and is directed by professionals in the normal working environment. The student must also report to and consult with his or her faculty advisor who provides overall academic supervision. Restrictions/Requirements: Completion of sophomore year, recommendation of Department Chair and acceptance in a position.
