Catalog description

This course will explore attitudes to sexuality, gender roles, and various interpretations of the meaning of love as they are reflected in a variety works from early world cultures, including the Africa, the Middle East, South and East Asia, South America, and the West. Students will observe and analyze how different geographies, histories, and traditions might affect attitudes toward sex, gender, and love.
