Catalog description

This course explores the evolving relationship between technology and the law. Topics will include privacy, artificial intelligence, surveillance, cybersecurity, intellectual property, gaming/gambling, and platform governance. We will examine the gaps between technological evolution over the past few decades and the laws that seek to address the legal issues they raise, which in turn create challenges for legislators, regulators, companies and legal counsel advising them.
