Advanced Legal Writing

Catalog description

This three-credit course is designed to teach students advanced writing skills in the context of writing a scholarly article and to give structure, guidance and support to students in the writing and research process. The topics covered range from how to select a topic, research, organization, use of authority and effective writing style. Students who will use this writing to satisfy the Upper Level Writing Requirement must produce an article that is at least 25 pages in length.
