Catalog description

This course reviews the field of law governing the employer/employee relationship including labor management relations; the Civil Rights Act; Affirmative Action; compensation laws; safety and health laws; discrimination laws based on sex and handicap; and specific employment topics such as drug testing, alcohol abuse and employee assistance programs, polygraph exams, employer related immigration laws, wage and hour laws and plant closing legislation. Restriction/Requirement: Junior Standing
